Once upon a time on a day in late March a little girl was born. This wasn't your ordinary girl. This girl had a spark in her eye and passion in heart from an early age. She was always talking with everyone everywhere she went. Her family even dubbed her “The Mayor”.
As she was growing up she realized how much she admired her older brother and wanted to be as athletic as he was. She joined in all the sports that he was playing in the high school while she was still just in the middle school. Yet playing on the soccer team and running laps around the track just was not enough for this little girl.
She felt that something was missing.
It wasn't until she was in 10th grade that her mother signed her up for singing lessons and forced her to go to her very first audition. It was her first foray into the acting world. Needless to say it was the worst audition of her life, but it didn't stop her! Shortly after that she was cast in her first theatrical experience and it was all uphill from there. She stepped out of her older brother’s shadow and began to find herself.
She fell in love with life.
After years of community theater and graduating High School she went off to college and she changed her mind - as teenagers often do! While she acquired her Associates degree in Theater from Suffolk Community College, she decided that when she went to Stony Brook University, theater would not be a priority to her. However, her artistic tendencies still came through while studying for her Bachelor's degree. She dabbled in Cinema, Cultural Studies and Media Art and eventually earned her Bachelors of the Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies. But she could sense that her spirit was wanting for something more. It had been years since she was on stage and she realized that acting was her true love.
She wanted it. Craved it. Needed it.
Opportunity knocked, and she found herself pursuing her passion in Chicago. While she only spent a year in the windy city, she knew that she had followed her heart and rediscovered that lost feeling. Since her return to New York, she has realized that everything happens for a reason. She’s met incredible people who have been able to guide her on the right path, and she's looking forward to incredible things in her future!
